The pretty Bastide towns of Monségur, Duras & Eymet, with their vibrant weekly markets, are only a few minutes by car. If you can drag yourself away from the lovely private pool with its fabulous panoramic views over the local countryside, then there is so much to do. The areas boasts excellent restaurants, vineyards, wine-tasting, shops, golf, tennis, riding, fishing and enchanting local French markets. St Emillion is around 40 mins, with Bordeaux & its 115 kms of beaches around an hour.
